I am a skilled, enthusiastic and knowledgeable speaker with over 10 years of direct experience. I regularly give talks, seminars and study days on areas I have written about and other areas within 20thC design, antiques, collecting, and the decorative arts.

My talks and lectures are packed with facts, opinion, context and take-home information. I am an accredited The Arts Society (NADFAS)) lecturer and I have also spoken at locations ranging from village halls and local bookshops to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Although I have undertaken formal, academic lectures, my style is informal, energetic and friendly – but always professional.

Lectures and seminars last around an hour, plus questions – with questions often being the best part as they are more interactive. Seminars and study days include handling actual examples of the objects we’re talking about, with study days usually incorporating two separate lectures, an identification and valuation session (like a personal Antiques Roadshow), and questions and answers. Prices start at £380.
