A mid-late 20thC mid-century modern carved pine and teak desk sculpture

Description

Reminiscent of a sail filled and curved with wind, the dramatic form of this pine sculpture is echoed in the lines of the grain of the wood, showing that the unidentified sculptor united form, material and surface detail. Unsigned, and beautiful.

Lightly waxed to give a slight sheen, it's mounted on a sloped asymmetric varnished teak base, with green baize on the underside.

19.5cm high, including base.
Base 10cm longest, 9.5cm widest, 1.8cm deepest.

Condition
Excellent original vintage condition, as photographed, noting some surface scratches, abrasions and shallow dents as expected with age.
