Description

A carved tree stump rising from the ground meets Henry Moore, with a dash of Barbara Hepworth. A pleasingly formed biomorphic sculpture with two carved apertures and two deepy carved, curving channels.

The smooth blond wood has a dark grain, and is finished with a thin layer of varnish. Mounted on an asymmetric black painted base with green baize on the underside and a curved front echoing the curves of the sculpture. Unsigned.

Base 9cm longest, 5.5cm widest, 1.9cm high

Condition
Excellent, original vintage condition. Some surface scratches as to be expected with a piece of this age. No cracks.
