After firmly establishing themselves at the forefront of international ceramic design during the 1950s, modern West German ceramics underwent a second explosion in design during the 1960s and 70s, pushing boundaries of form, glaze and colour to their limits. Professionally produced by Inhouse Productions and featuring fascinating interviews with Dr Graham Cooley, Mark Hill, Petra & Patrick Folkersma of Outernational, and others, this DVD also includes sweeping views of the first ever public ‘Fat Lava’ exhibition, held as part of the King’s Lynn Arts Festival in Summer 2006.
